Our Aims

We provide high quality veterinary care in a compassionate, caring manner with highly qualified staff. We are dedicated to continually improving the service we offer to our clients and will use staff personal development plans linked to our aims and objectives to achieve this.

The Veterinary team

Partners Kevin Watts and Guy Wolverson head a team of seven vets. Each has an area of special interest, ranging from Cardiology to Dermatology; Orthopaedics and Dietary care.

Preventative Healthcare

We believe that prevention is better than cure. It is important to have regular check-ups; we also offer a health screen for all ages of pets. These can help detect a disease at an early stage which can allow us to take the appropriate action before it is too late. The real benefit of pet healthcare programmes is that pets enjoy fitter, more active, longer and healthier lives.

When your pet comes in for a health check, we can advise on vaccinations. We strongly recommend annual vaccination for dogs against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo Virus, Leptospirosis and Para-influenza. Dogs visiting kennels should be immunised against Kennel-cough. Cats should be protected against Flu, Enteritis and Leukaemia Virus.

Veterinary nurses

Working very closely with the veterinary team are the veterinary nurses, headed by Donna Mace. Our team of 9 nurses provide a very high standard of care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are responsible for the general care of day and in-patients, medicating animals giving telephone advice and dealing with 24 hour emergencies.

Home visits

Most conditions are better treated at the surgery, where we have a full range of medication and equipment. However, if you cannot make it to the surgery, we are quite happy to visit your pet at your home. Please note that an additional charge will be made for home visits.

If you are without transport, there are many taxi firms who will take you and your pets to the surgery. Visit our links & resources page for details.
